Book Marketing: Before your book rolls off the press, or after your book has been published, you are able to choose from numerous effective Marketing Options. Every author in The Publishing Hub network gains access to a select group of experienced marketers, and at discounted prices. You choose the services you want to promote, market, and sell your book. Every author in The Publishing Hub network is automatically included in numerous Marketing Options, at no charge (see List of Included Marketing Options).

Bookstore distribution (Learn More)
The Publishing Hub has a unique relationship with a bookstore distributor that will accept books by Christian authors. (Books can be reviewed to see if they can be allowed into the system.) The cost to get into the bookstore distribution system is $199 per book title. Once your book has been accepted into the system, anyone from most any bookstore will be able to order your book, but being in the system does not guarantee that your book will be on the shelves. If there is sufficient demand, bookstores may put your book on their shelves. Having a rep take your book to bookstores is also an option, but does includes other fees. After you purchase the Bookstore Distribution package, you will be asked to provide details about your book. This list or questionnaire will be emailed directly to you. Simply fill it out and return it. Your book will then be entered into the system.

As soon as your book is uploaded into the system, and it has been approved, you will be asked to mail books to two different warehouses. The quantity is up to you, but it will need to be enough to satisfy demand. You can send more copies as needed. There is a storage fee of $0.015/book per month.

Royalties within the bookstore distribution system are not as high as those from your publisher’s website, The Publishing Hub bookstore, Amazon.com, etc., but the main benefit is that your book is accessible from virtually every bookstore. Royalties are as follows:

Retailer: 25%
Wholesaler: 20%
Mass Distribution: 10-15%

Sales reports are generated the month following, and royalties are paid three months later so as to avoid a reserve against returns. As soon as The Publishing Hub receives reports and royalties, it will be passed on to you.

If your book has been published by one of the publishers within The Publishing Hub network, your book will automatically be added to The Publishing Hub Bookstore at no extra charge. You will also be In the Bookstore system. The same applies if your book has been produced or marketed by The Publishing Hub staff.
