Book Production: The first step in production is getting the text into a format that can be edited. (See Tips on getting the text out of you.) From there, you or one of our trained editors can edit, revise, and tweak your text. After your review and changes, including a grammar proof, your book goes into layout and cover design. After a final review by you, your text is ready to go to press.
Book Publishing: During the production process, you have the incredible opportunity to choose the best publisher for your book! From the publishers within The Publishing Hub network, you choose the publisher that best fits your book’s intended market. With each publisher within The Publishing Hub network, you retain the rights to your book! We submit a proposal to that publisher, and 99% of the time your book is accepted. Then we submit the specs of your book (i.e. page count, dimensions, quantity, binding, embossing, etc.) to our four professional book printers and in turn get you the lowest possible price on your book. After you review the publisher’s contract (see Do you pay royalties?) and approve of it, then your book goes to print, a process that only takes 5-7 weeks. Learn More
Book Marketing: Before your book rolls off the press, or after your book has been published, you are able to choose from numerous effective Marketing Options. Every author in The Publishing Hub network gains access to a select group of experienced marketers, and at discounted prices. You choose the services you want to promote, market, and sell your book. In the Bookstore: Here, readers can meet the authors within The Publishing Hub network and buy your books. In this unique “In the Bookstore” system, readers can contact you, ask you questions, read your blogs, schedule you to speak at their next event, or tell you how your book influenced them. All books in the Bookstore have been produced, published, or marketed through The Publishing Hub and/or its staff.
Become an Agent: The Publishing Hub welcomes agents and author referrals and pays commissions on books that are referred to any of the publishers within The Publishing Hub network. To become an agent or to ask questions about commissions, contact our agent/referral department.
Join the Network: The Publishing Hub is constantly looking for more qualified publishers to join the network. If you have a current market or audience and are service minded, then you may be perfectly suited to launch your own publishing label within The Publishing Hub network.
